LUCY

Lucy studied French and Spanish, also graduating from Newcastle University in 1996. She then spent over 2 years in Japan teaching English before returning to London to complete an MA in Japanese Studies.

Over the past 8 years Lucy has undertaken a variety of long-term PA and support roles. She worked as an Editorial Assistant in a large academic publisher, and has carried out a variety of freelance projects. Lucy moved to Bristol in January 2006.

We set up Joanna & Lucy when we realised that, between us, we had built up a significant raft of skills and experience that would allow us to work from home whilst helping other people.

JOANNA

Joanna studied French at Newcastle University, graduated in 1996 and then moved to London where she worked in administrative roles for a film company and in other media related companies before taking an interest in graphic design, teaching herself and taking a number of short courses.

Joanna has worked as a freelance graphic designer since 1998, producing many websites, printed matter and visuals for a variety of companies in London and throughout the UK.
